"Gilles Viandier [...] creates ephemeral travelling installations with a 30m long lycra fabric. This […] veil becomes a flag, a suit of clothes, a shelter, a carpet as the dancer performs {...]. It’s elegant, graceful and puzzling."

La Montagne

In this vibrant outdoor performance, Gilles reveals with elegant and adventurous moves a response to the local environment. He envelops the surrounding structures and spaces with a brightly coloured monochrome veil made of 30 metres of lycra – at once delicate, strong, compact, expansive, and bold.

Street Pantone draws on Gilles’s background as both a contemporary dance artist and an architect to explore the history and identity of heritage sites and urban landscapes, rediscovering and exploring the city’s architecture and questioning void and waste.

Street Pantone is a striking visual experience that immerses audiences in transient constructions and ephemeral landscapes.

Note: Site is wheelchair accessible via the Fishamble St entrance.
