If you're still on the fence about whether this internship is for you, take a look at what some of our previous interns say about their time with DDF...

"This is going to sound effusive and clichéd, but this internship was genuinely one of the best things I have worked on so far, in terms of my career, the learning opportunities I’ve had, and just doing a job I really loved. In getting to work across different aspects of the Festival – including operations, artist & guest liaison, outdoor events, reporting, receptions and outreach – I had a fantastic opportunity to understand the operation of the Festival from early stage planning through to post-Festival reporting. I am lucky to be moving straight from the internship to a position with a dance company and venue, and I know that the experience I gained during the internship was instrumental in my going for and being offered this position. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Programme & Events Assistant internship with DDF to anyone with an interest in working in the administrative end of the dance and wider arts industry." Saoirse Anton (2019 Programme & Events Assistant)

My time with Dublin Dance Festival was without a doubt the most valuable experience of my undergraduate experience. From the first day, I felt like a valued member of the team. I was able to gain practical experience and develop my skills in administration, event planning, marketing, social media management, and much more. Besides the valuable work experience, I was also able to develop professional relationships and contacts with some of the biggest movers and shakers in the Dublin performing arts scene. After my time as part of the DDF team, I feel fully confident that I have the tools to begin a successful career in the arts sector.Catherine Rothweiller (2018 Communications Assistant)
