Exclusive screening for DDF Friends during the Digital Capsule

Like most things in 2020, our Friends Events took on a slightly different look this year. But just because we weren't able to enjoy our usual catch up over a glass of wine and a show during the Festival, our DDF Friends were still treated to some exclusive dance experiences.

Greek choreographer Tzeni Argyriou was due to bring her exquisite piece ANΩNYMO to the Abbey Theatre this May to open DDF2020. We know that many of our DDF Friends had already booked to experience this performance live, and we wanted to make sure this piece could still be enjoyed - even if not on the Abbey Stage.

We were delighted then that we were able to arrange an exclusive screening of ANΩNYMO, which our DDF Friends could access online from their living room (aka their home theatre / office / gym and more depending on the day!).

While we wish we could have shared the experience together, it was wonderful to know that we were still able to share some of the DDF2020 magic with our audiences and it is responses like this one that make us continue doing what we do.

We look forward to sharing more dance with our DDF Friends - whether live or virtually - as the year continues!
