#FestivalFlashback - Highlight Performance No. 8: Trisha Brown Dance Company (2012)

Another week. Another unforgettable Festival flashback.

Invariably sensuous, characterised by inventive wit and often uncommonly interesting... Brown keeps adding to the sum of human happiness

A fitting description of the gala performance of DDF2012 where Trisha Brown Company presented their signature work, Set and Reset, alongside a collection of short and witty early works as well as the newly created suite of dances from Rameau's opera Pygmalion.

Transfixed by the exquisite movement and striking choreography, the audience was treated to a series of breathtaking works presented on the Abbey Stage.

Without a doubt this Festival performance by a legendary figure of American modern dance was a night to be remembered.
